Edinburgh Books
Edinburgh Books has been a landmark for book lovers for over twenty years. It has a wide-ranging stock of second-hand and antiquarian books: just when you think you’ve scanned every shelf you find the stairs and realise that there are four rooms in the basement. For the reader, there is a large stock of fiction and non-fiction; for the collector, a sizeable number of intriguing titles. Clarence the water buffalo keeps a beady eye on proceedings.
Access: 10cm step and 83cm doorframe. Some turning room at the top section of the shop, close to where the readers will sit.There are an additional two small steps (9cm & 12cm) to the lower section of the shop and stairs to the basement.
