Calling all Readers and Bakers and Eaters of Cake!
This week we are working on a very special fundraising event ... one that will tantalize your taste buds and get you ready for some summer reading! This Saturday, 5 June 2010, we are having an old-fashioned cake sale in the bookshops of the West Port and beyond.
Come round Edinburgh Books, Armchair Books and Peter Bell Books on the West Port and peruse the shelves of the gorgeous Scottish Poetry Library on Saturday afternoon to stock up on summer reading and support the Festival by treating yourself to a delicious home-baked cake!
If the warm weather has put you in the mood for a refreshing lemon drizzle cake or even if you prefer richer chocolate creations, get baking! Your efforts can be dropped off at Edinburgh Books on Friday afternoon from 4.00pm to 6.00pm and Saturday morning from 10.00am.

Just a reminder that West Port Book Festival gratefully accepts donations. As we are not publicly funded, our book festival runs entirely on your generous dontations.
