The 2010 programme is launched!
After a great party on Friday night we are proud to declare the good ship WPBF '10 officially launched. Plenty of wine and beer was quaffed in her honour, whilst guests mingled, chatted (no doubt extremely intelligently) and generally enjoyed being in one of Edinburgh's finest bookshops. The secret trapdoor, homemade cake and slightly facetious election theme also seemed to go down pretty well, as did the programme itself.
We'll be working hard over the next week to distribute programmes around town and beyond. They are very beautiful thanks to our designer, Will Brady, who has done us proud once again. At the moment, you can be sure of finding one at a West Port bookshop. Alternatively, have a look at our website: http://westportbookfestival.org/programme. It is quite sexy and just as informative.
To book tickets please read the blurb here. There are usually plenty of 'on the day' tickets left though (we keep back at least half) so you don't need to worry too much about booking, particularly if you live locally.
