West Port Book Shops Guide

Pick up your free guide to the West Port Book Shops at a number of venues, shop and hang-outs near you. If you’d like a guide then let me know and I’ll post some out on the proviso that you give at least a few to friends and/or strangers.

The West Port is a roguish cultural pocket in a fine literary city, a place where you can browse singular second-hand bookshops, buy beautiful bespoke books and have favourite tomes rebound. Or why not linger slowly over intriguing antique maps and prints, letting the chattering world race by?

Each shop has its own atmosphere and ethos, whether rare and respectable or dog-eared and slightly foxed. All are home to the workings of serendipity.

Technically, Scottish Prints is not a bookshop, Old Town Books is not in West Port and the Owl & Lion Gallery is neither a bookshop nor in West Port, but who are we to quibble? This leaflet simply wouldn’t be the same without them.
